Naperville Woman Gives Birth To Own Granddaughter

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 53-year-old Naperville woman has given birth to her own granddaughter--as a surrogate.

Cindy Reutzel underwent in-vitro fertilization after her daughter was diagnosed with cervical cancer and had to have a hysterectomy

Reutzel says she's recovering well--and would even consider doing it again.

"I know I gave a gift, but I also am getting so much in return," she said. "I don't think you can minimize the good that I am getting out of this, too."
