Bulls Give Tom Thibodeau 4-Year Contract Extension

(WSCR) The Bulls have locked up head coach Tom Thibodeau, giving him a four-year contract extension, the team announced Monday.

Thibodeau had one year remaining on his deal.

"I'm biased, but I think Tom is the best coach in the NBA," Forman told the Chicago Tribune. "I watch his practice every day and his attention to detail is incredible."

In two years as Bulls head coach, Thibodeau has compiled a record of 112-36 - a .757 winning percentage. He has reached the playoffs in both seasons.

"Obviously, I'm glad we got the contract done," Thibodeau told The Tribune. "I'm looking forward to the challenge ahead. My expectations remain the same.

"I'm thankful to Jerry (Reinsdorf) and Gar and John (Paxson). I never doubted it would work out. I love being here."
