Hot Doug's, Portillos Make Urbanspoon's Top 100 Cheap Eats List
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Two Chicago restaurants have cracked the list of Top 100 "cheap eats" in the country.
Hot Doug's, the insanely popular encased meats emporium and sausage superstore at 3324 North California Ave, and Portillos, which garners rave reviews for their beef sandwiches, hot dogs and overall high-value menu, earned the honor from Urbanspoon. Portillos has multiple locations across the Chicago area
Restaurants on the Urbanspoon's 2012 America's Most Popular Cheap Eats list were selected based on a rating algorithm that includes: blog posts on Urbanspoon; diner voting behavior; consumer reviews; critic reviews; and page views.
