CHICAGO (CBS) — The Guardian Angels are on the Red Line this morning — warning commuters to keep a close eye on their smart phones.

This comes after an early morning robbery at the Grand Avenue station, where a woman’s iPhone was stolen.

“They came from behind her and put her in a choke hold from the back and jumped over her and snatched the phone from her, pushed her down and exited the train,” said Guardian Angels’ National Director Miguel Fuentes.

The Guardian Angels tracked the phone using a tracking app to a Brown Line train in the Loop.

Chicago Police arrested two suspects and recovered the phone a short time later.

Fuentes said, based on the victim’s description, he had seen the suspects earlier while he was on patrol.
