Video: Youth Football Coach Arrested After Violently Slapping Referee

(WSCR) Stop me if you've heard this before: A youth football coach took a youth football game way, way too seriously.

Well, that's exactly what happened to 43-year-old assistant youth football coach Dion Robinson in West Park, Florida.

After a disputed called, coaches from the West Park Saints charged the field to argue with official Andrew Keigans, who made an unsportsmanlike conduct call against the Saints. As the coaches ran to Keigans, the referee decided to forfeit the game for the Saints.

When Keigans made his decision, Robinson ran up behind the referee and viciously slapped him in the face. Robinson was arrested Monday.

As Deadspin reports, Robinson has been arrested over 12 times and has pled no contest to charges including "cocaine delivery, indecent exposure and unlawful use of a false name" and served time for robbery. Again, this man was working as a youth football coach.
