Man Charged With Taking Teen Girl To Illinois For Sex

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Indiana authorities have arrested a man accused of taking a 14-year-old girl from Hammond into Illinois and forcing her to have sex with him.

Carey Ray, whose age and home address are not known, allegedly met the girl on an Internet site and exchanged hundreds of text messages with her.

He's accused of taking her to a hotel in suburban Lansing earlier this month.

He provided here her with marijuana and alcohol and then sexually assaulted her.

He's being held without bond pending a court hearing tomorrow.
