Some Livestrong Donors Want Their Money Back

(WSCR) The stripping of Lance Armstrong's seven Tour de France titles may have consequences that affect much more than the sport of cycling.

According to a report, several donors who have given money to Livestrong, Armstrong's cancer awareness charity, want their money back.

You can count Michael Birdsong of Salt Lake City among those who are unhappy with the cyclist and looking for their money back.

"I was a huge Armstrong fan from 1999 to the time he retired," Birdsong told CNN. "I would defend him from anyone. ... "The whole thing is founded on a lie. The guy cheated, and he forced other people to cheat. I would like my money back. We donated under false pretenses."
