Fire Damages State Bank Of Geneva

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Investigators in the western suburbs are looking for the cause of an early morning fire at a bank.

The fire was reported around 3 a.m. at the State Bank of Geneva on Fourth Street in downtown Geneva.

No one was hurt, and firefighters kept the fire confined to the bank building.

There's no official estimate yet but a fire official tells Newsradio the damage was severe.

A recorded message on the bank's phone says the main lobby is closed but the walk-up and drive-up facilities will stay open until 7 p.m.
