Police Search For Suicidal 19-Year-Old

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Police are searching for a suicidal 19-year-old man who was last seen in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

Jeremy Figueroa was in the 3700 block of West Agatite Avenue before he disappeared on Friday, according to a missing person's alert issued by police on Sunday.

Figueroa is diagnosed with asthma and does not have his medication with him, the alert said, adding that the young man suffers from depression and is suicidal.

Police described Figueroa as 5-foot-5, 119 pounds and white Hispanic with a medium complexion. He has brown eyes and black hair. He has tattoos of a grim reaper on his back, a scorpion on his left upper arm and the Chicago skyline on his right forearm, the alert said.

Figueroa was last seen wearing dark charcoal jeans, black gym shoes, a white T-shirt with "Chicago" written on it, and a black and purple jacket.

Anyone with information on Figueroa's whereabouts can contact detectives with the Area North special victim's unit at (312) 744-8266.
