Bus Driver Accused Of Being Drunk On The Job

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Chicago school bus driver is in trouble for being drunk while on the job--and more

The driver, identified as Kenny Sellers, was taken into custody after a motorist told a police officer that Sellers had been driving erratically and nearly hit his vehicle three times.

After initially refusing to stop, Sellers was pulled over in the 4100 block of North Lawndale.

He failed a sobriety test and was taken to a police station where police say he fought with officers and tried to escape.

Four children on the bus were taken to the Hawthorne Elementary School by another driver.

School officials say they will fine Sellers' employer, Jewel Bus Co., $3,000. No word on charges for Sellers.
