Two Men Shot At House Party In Auburn-Gresham

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Two men were shot outside a house party in the South Side Auburn Gresham neighborhood early Saturday.

The shooting occurred at 12:15 a.m. in the 8600 block of South Loomis Boulevard, police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.

The two men were at a house party when they stepped outside and heard multiple shots, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said. The pair fled on foot and realized they were shot.

A 19-year-old man was shot in the back and taken in Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in "stable" condition, Greer said. A 20-year-old man was taken in "stable" condition to Christ with two gunshot wounds to the shoulder.

No one is in custody and Area South detectives are investigating.
