Daughter Charged With Robbing Own Mother

CHICAGO (CBS) -- A Northwest Side woman is being held on $300,000 bail after prosecutors say she robbed her own mother.

Police say 36-year-old Julie Franck wore a ski mask when she and an accomplice broke into her mother's home in the 1700 block of North Marshfield last month.

Police say the second suspect used a stun gun on Franck's mother 15 times and then stole her $40,000 diamond engagement ring, credit and debit cards and $200 in cash.

Before they fled, someone in the home pulled off Franck's ski mask and recognized her as the victim's daughter.

She was arrested on Friday.
