White Sox, Wise Agree On One-Year Deal
(WSCR) The man who saved Mark Buehrle's perfect game is again returning to the White Sox.
The club announced today it has agreed to a one-year contract with veteran outfielder Dewayne Wise. The deal is worth a reported $700,000.
The 34-year-old Wise combined to bat .259 with career highs of eight home runs, 30 RBI, 31 runs scored and 19 stolen bases in 101 games with the Yankees and White Sox in 2012.
The White Sox's 40-man roster is now complete.
