CHICAGO (CBS) — About 3,000 children who live in suburban Cook County got free coats on Thursday.
Children were shopping for coats at a Burlington Coat Factory store in Crestwood, where the “One Warm Coat” program is spreading a little timely warmth–as the season’s first winter storm bears down on Chicago.

“This is wonderful, especially today since we are due a big snowstorm tonight,” she said.
