CHICAGO (CBS) -- Mayor Emanuel is announcing that a major construction firm has decided to move its national headquarters to Chicago.

Clayco Moves HQ To Chicago

Clayco Inc. develops and builds large projects across the country and it already has 280 employees in Chicago.

Moving the corporate headquarters here from St. Louis will add another 300.

Bob Clark, Clayco's Chairman and CEO, says that with a record backlog of projects and increasing travel around the world, the company sees Chicago as integral to its plans to expand.

The headquarters will be at 35 E. Wacker Drive, known as the Jewelers' Building, and Mayor Emanuel says Clayco exactly the company the city is looking to attract.
