(WSCR) Top-ranked high school linebacker Alex Anzalone has decommited from Notre Dame, according to a report.

Anzalone, who originally committed to Ohio State before switching to Notre Dame in July, will now enroll early at Florida.

The Pennsylvania native, ranked in the top 50 among high school players, is the first recruit to decommit from Notre Dame following the school’s beat down in the BCS National Championship.

With head coach Brian Kelly’s name circling around the NFL, Anzalone could be the first of many to bolt from the Irish.
