White Sox Avoid Arbitration With Beckham, De Aza

(CBS) - The White Sox today signed Gordon Beckham and Alejandro De Aza to one-year contracts, avoiding arbitration with both players.

Beckham will earn $2.925 million in 2013, with De Aza pulling in $2.075 million.

Beckham, 26, hit .234 with 16 home runs, 60 RBI and 62 runs scored over 151 games in his fourth season with the White Sox.

The 28-year-old De Aza batted .281 with 29 doubles, nine home runs, 50 RBI, 81 runs scored and 26 stolen bases over 131 games in his first full season with the club.
