Beyonce Halftime Show Had No Role In Super Bowl Blackout
(CBS) While it may have been electrifying, it appears Beyonce's halftime show during Super Bowl XLVII played no part in the power outage at the Superdome.
The NFL is still working to find an answer for what caused the 35-minute disruption in play while a record-setting crowd tuned in to see the Ravens defeat the 49ers.
"There's no indication at all that this was caused by the halftime show," NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said Monday. "I know that's out there, that Beyonce's halftime show had something to do with it. That is not the case from anything we have at this point."
