Brief, Intense Snowfall Expected This Afternoon
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A fast-moving storm will create moderate to heavy snowfall for a couple of hours on Tuesday afternoon.
A band of snow will move across Chicagoland between noon and 4 p.m.

While snowfall may be heavy at times, and create poor visibility, total accumulations will be relatively light.
Totals should generally be less than two inches.
People traveling this afternoon should be prepared to encounter brief but intense snowfall.
The snow will start in the far northern suburbs sometime between noon and 2 p.m. and affect the Chicago metro area between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
