Chicago Snow Forecast: Latest From Steve Baskerville
CHICAGO (CBS) -- We just got a briefing from CBS 2's meteorologist Steve Baskerville on the dynamics of Tuesday's storm.
The details:
This will be a long snow event.
RUSH HOUR: Snow will fall most heavily between late afternoon and 7 p.m. Winds will also increase, complicating the commute further.
EVENING: Snow will lessen later in evening, and accumulating snow will end around midnight. There is the potential for some lake effect snow, adding another 1 to 2 inches tonight. But that is uncertain.
TOTALS: Most of area will see about six inches of snow. There will be areas with more, up to 10 inches
