Ravi Jaiswal of Hanover Park just lost his cousin and good friend.

"Very good buddies, me and him. We even used to live together and then he had hoarded enough money to move out," said Jaiswal.

24-year-old Anandkumar Jaiswal was working at Thornton's Gas station in Streamwood and trying to save enough money to go to college. He moved to the U.S. from India just three years ago and wanted to study computer science.

That dream was close to reality, as his father tells Newsradio. Jaiswal's sister is getting married in May. After the wedding, Jaiswal would be ready to start school. Early Saturday, his dream came to an abrupt halt, as a man with a knife held-up the gas station and stabbed Jaiswal multiple times.
