CHICAGO (STMW) — A 26-year-old man was stabbed to death at his home during an argument with his roommate Monday night in the Northwest Side Albany Park neighborhood, authorities said.

Eber Ochoa-Deleon was stabbed in the chest about 7:15 p.m. in the 4800 block of North Drake Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.

He was stabbed while fighting with a roommate, who has since been taken into police custody, Alfaro said. No charges have been filed.

Ochoa-Deleon was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston where he died at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

Area North detectives are investigating.
