Man Shot Dead In Auburn-Gresham
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was fatally shot in the face in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood Thursday afternoon on the South Side.
Antoine Louis, 22, was shot to death about 3:30 p.m. in the 7700 block of South Carpenter Street, according to authorities.
Officers responding to report of gunshots found Louis lying on the sidewalk, police said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:50 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner.
Area South detectives are investigating.
