One Month Later, No Arrest In Fatal Shooting Of Baby

CHICAGO (CBS) -- One month ago, 6-month-old Jonylah Watkins was gunned down, and her killer remains on the loose.

A bullet went though her little body, hitting several organs and killing her.

The shooting happened inside her father's van.

A gunman approached from behind and started shooting.

Police say the gunman was targeting Jonylah's father, Jonathon Watkins.

Jonathon Watkins has a significant criminal background but is cooperating with police.

They were shot Jonathon Watkins was standing in the open passengers door to a minivan in the 6500 block of South Maryland Avenue.

Jonathon Watkins was shot in the side and the left buttock, and suffered a graze wound to the face, police said.
