CHICAGO (STMW) -- A motorist was wounded during a drive-by shooting early Sunday in the West Town neighborhood on the North Side.
The driver and his female acquaintance were inside a pickup truck in the 900 block of North Ashland Avenue at 5:15 a.m. when a SUV pulled up alongside and someone inside opened fire, police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli said.
