(CBS) In what was supposed to be a night off, Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford made arguably the play of the day.

Goaltender Ray Emery got the start Wednesday night in Edmonton, but exited early with a lower-body injury.

A cold Crawford came off the bench to replace Emery, and with 12 minutes remaining in the second period, made a save that will be played on highlight reels for the rest of his career.

Not only did Crawford make this incredible save, he managed to keep the Oilers off the board for the rest of the night.
