Woman Shot Twice In Greater Grand Crossing Neighborhood
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A woman was shot twice in the leg Saturday in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.
The shooting occurred about 1 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Lafayette Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Joshua Purkiss.
A 19-year-old woman was taken in good condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Purkiss said.
Area South detectives are investigating.
