Man Dead After Shooting In Wheeling
WHEELING (CBS) -- A man was fatally shot a block from his home in northwest suburban Wheeling on Wednesday.
Officers responded to a call at the Winetree Apartment Complex in the 400 block of Pleasant Run Drive at 9 p.m., Wheeling police said.
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest, Wheeling police said.
Rafael A. Orozco, 23, of the 500 block of Pleasant Run Drive, was pronounced dead at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview at 9:50 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Orozco lived in the Winetree Apartment Complex, police said.
No one is in custody.
