(CBS) — Derrick Rose says that he is unaware of criticism of his decision to continue to sit on the sidelines, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune.
“That’s my first time hearing about it,” Rose told the Tribune. “I barely turn on the TV. I’m with my son all day. So that’s about it.”
Rose has been sidelined since he tore his ACL late in last season’s playoff-opening win over Philadelphia.
“I’m feeling about the same, still being patient, still trying to take care of my body and just trying to enjoy this time and cheer on my teammates,” Rose told the Tribune.
