Drunk Umpire Passes Out At Illinois High School Game, Attacks First Responders
(CBS) -- A an umpire at a Stark County High School baseball game was arrested after drunkenly passing out and attacking first responders trying to help him, according to a report.
The umpire, Daryl Jacobson, 49 of Kewanee, is being charged with two counts of aggravated battery and two counts of resisting a peace officer. Jacobson is currently in custody at Stark County jail.
He was passed out on the field and when first responders came to help him, Jacobson attacked them, according to witnesses. He had to be tasered twice while being arrested.
