CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man shot multiple times during a May dispute in the Southwest Side Beverly neighborhood died Thursday.

Kyle Arrington, 34, was shot May 15 in the 9900 block of South Walden Parkway and was declared dead at 6:20 a.m. Thursday at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

Police had said David Twine, 29, of Matteson, shot Arrington during a dispute about 12:35 p.m. May 15.

An arrest warrant was issued for Twine, who was booked into the Cook County Jail June 1 and is being held on $500,000 bond for aggravated battery with a firearm, according to the Cook County Sheriff's office.

An autopsy on Arrington, of the 9100 block of South Damen Avenue, is scheduled for Friday, the medical examiner's office said.

It was not immediately known if charges will be upgraded since Arrington has died.
