(CBS) According to a report from ESPN, the Bulls have been in talks with the Wizards on a trade that would send Luol Deng to Washington for the No. 3 pick in the draft.

The report cites sources who claim the Bulls have had “exploratory discussion” regarding the trade.

The deal would likely send Deng to the Wizards for the No. 3 pick along with center Emeka Okafor, who would have to officially opt into his contract for next season before the draft

Okafor’s option is set at $14.5 million for the 2013-14 season.

The report also indicates the Cavaliers, who own the No. 1 overall pick, are also interested in Deng.

A subsequent report from the Washington Post refutes ESPN’s report, however, claiming the Wizards are not interested in trading the No. 3 pick.
