CHICAGO (CBS) -- The mother of a murdered 19-year-old Austin woman is making an emotional plea to the gunman to give himself up, reports WBBM's Bob Roberts.

As the mothers of several other murdered teens looked on, Tiffany Hardmon asked who gave the gunman the right to take her daughter Ashley from her.
"Who decided to take that gun and leave my baby lying there and my family had to witness and see that," said Hardiman.
Ashley died Tuesday night of a head wound inflicted by a man who fired into a crowd a block from her home.
Another woman called such gunmen "baby thieves" and asked who is going to care for her and what is she going to have to fall back on when she gets older?
