Eagles WR Riley Cooper At Country Concert: 'I Will Fight Every N----- Here'

(CBS) Though details on this incident are unclear, Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper apparently had a foot-in-mouth moment.

While attending a Kenny Chesney concert at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on June 8, Cooper was caught on video saying "I will fight every n----- here."

It's unclear what angered Cooper, but CrossingBroad.com reported in June that Cooper was seen getting into a skirmish outside of the concert.

Cooper, 25, is entering his fourth season with the Eagles.

After the video went viral Wednesday afternoon, Cooper released the following apology on Twitter.

"I am so ashamed and disgusted with myself," Cooper wrote. "I want to apologize. I have been offensive. I have apologized to my coach, Jeffrey Lurie, and Howie Roseman and to my teammates. I owe an apology to the fans and to this community. I am so ashamed, but there are no excuses. What I did was wrong and I will accept the consequences."
