Woman Held On $2 Million Bail In Stabbing Death
CHICAGO (STMW) -- An 18-year-old woman was ordered held on $2 million bail Saturday for allegedly stabbing a man to death last week in the Rogers Park neighborhood.
Dezerai Gardner, of the 2000 block of West Jarvis, was charged with stabbing 35-year-old Anthony Price in the center of his chest with a butcher knife on Thursday, after a domestic dispute, according to a proffer by prosecutors. She then pulled the knife out of his chest and ran away.
Price, who lived in south suburban Dolton, was the boyfriend of Gardner's mother. He died after being taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.
