Aurora Police Release Woman Questioned In Fatal Stabbing

AURORA, Ill. (CBS) -- Police in Aurora have released a woman who was being questioned in the stabbing death early Tuesday of a 31-year-old man.

Aurora police say, even though she has been released, the case is "pending further investigation."

What police know is that Lamar House and the 19-year-old woman got into an argument in the bedroom of her Ohio Street home. Police said the woman told them the argument turned physical, and ended when she stabbed House in the chest with the sharp end of a plastic comb, puncturing his heart.

Police held the woman for nearly 36 hours before releasing her.
