Girl, 14, Recovering After Being Shot In The Leg
(CBS) – A 14-year-old girl is recovering after being shot in the leg.
The shooting happened 5 p.m. Friday near 79th and South Vernon Avenue on the city's South Side.
Brianna Jones was taken in good condition to Comer's Hospital.
"I'm pissed off. I'm tired of innocent kids being shot at and being hurt for no reason," Briana's mother, Brentice Wilson, told reporters.
No one was in custody.
