MORRIS, Ill. (CBS) — A 13-year-old boy who had been missing since Monday afternoon was found safe around 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation regarding the circumstances of the case.

WBBM Newsradio’s John Cody reports Trevor Russell, of Braceville, was at the Grundy County Courthouse with his family, when he walked out of the building around 2 p.m. Monday. According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department, Trevor asked to use the restroom and left the courthouse.
