Bears Try Out Several Punters At Halas Hall

(CBS) According to a report from the Tribune, the Bears tried out six different punters Tuesday at Halas Hall.

In an effort to seemingly light a fire under Adam Podlesh, the Bears worked out Brian Moorman, Mat McBriar, Chris Kluwe, Drew Butler and Tress Way. The identity of the sixth punter wasn't immediately available.

It should be noted Way spent training camp and the preseason with the Bears.

The Tribune cites sources who claim a signing is not imminent, but that could change.

Podlesh has struggled early in the season, ranking 26th in the league in net yardage.
