White Sox Outright RHP Purcey

(CBS) The White Sox have outrighted left-handed pitcher David Purcey to Triple-A Charlotte.

The 31-year-old Purcey went 1-1 with a 2.13 ERA and 23 strikeouts over 24 relief appearances with the White Sox this season.  He limited opponents to a .209 average (19-91), including a .205 mark (9-44) vs. left-handers.

With the move, the White Sox 40-man roster is at 36.
