11 Injured In Logan Square Crash

CHICAGO (STMW) -- Eleven people were injured in a five-car crash early Sunday in the Northwest Side Logan Square neighborhood.

The crash happened about 2:15 a.m. near North Western and West Armitage avenues, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.

A driver attempted to do a U-turn and was rear-ended by another vehicle, which hit another vehicle that hit two parked cars, Greer said.

All of the injured are adults and were taken in good condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center, Greer said.

Citations are pending against the driver who attempted the U-turn, Greer said.
