Freeze Warning Issued For Chicago Area
CHICAGO (AP) — It may be time to break out the hat and gloves.
The National Weather Service has issued frost advisories and freeze warnings early Tuesday for most of northern and central Illinois.
Weather officials say it is a good time to cover or bring more sensitive plants indoors.
It will be the first widespread freeze of the season, and dozens of counties are expected to see temperatures drop.
Weather officials say temperatures will dip down to the upper 20s and lower 30s.
