CHICAGO (CBS) — One person was injured after an SUV slammed into a post office in Orland Park on Thursday.

Firefighters were dispatched at 1:09 p.m. today to the Orland Park Post Office at 114th Street after the SUV drove through the front window.

The driver was not injured but a Post Office customer inside the building sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Firefighters inspected the damage to the building and concluded there was no major structural damage.

The Orland Fire Protection District worked with Postal employees to remove debris and salvage property.
