Kafka Joins Linebackers, Wide Receivers In Workout At Halas Hall

(CBS) The Bears held a workout for free agent linebackers and wide receivers at Halas Hall Friday, according to the Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs.

Among those working out was former Northwestern quarterback Mike Kafka, but it's possible he was just there to throw to the wide receivers, according to the report. The Bears signed quarterback Jordan Palmer earlier in the week.

The group of linebackers included Larry Grant, Brian Rolle and Julian Stanford, but there may have been more.

The group of wide receivers included Terrence Toliver, Danny Coale and Roy Roundtree. Toliver spent the preseason with the Bears and was in the mix for a roster spot.

The Bears currently have an open spot on their 53-man roster and an open spot on their practice squad.
