Man Found Dead With Head Trauma In West Englewood
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was found dead Sunday afternoon with trauma to the head, apparently a gunshot wound, in West Englewood on the South Side.
The man, thought to be about 18-20 years old, was found dead in a back stairwell in the 6500 block of South Bishop Street, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
The man, who has yet to be identified, apparently suffered a gunshot wound, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. Police said the man had suffered trauma to the head.
An autopsy to determine cause and manner of death is scheduled for Monday.
Area South detectives are conducting a death investigation.
