Photos: Northwestern To Wear Patriotic Uniforms Vs. Michigan
(CBS) When the Wildcats face off against the Wolverines on Nov. 16, they'll look quite different.
Northwestern will don patriotic uniforms for the contest, with 10 percent of all proceeds from jerseys sold going to the Wounded Warrior Project.
The school said Under Armour designed these jerseys to "honor the men and women of our armed services. "
"The uniform incorporates a custom stars & stripes design on the shoulders & sleeves and includes a core value embellishment, 'Freedom,' printed on the back. 'Believe in Heroes' lettering is embroidered at the bottom hem," the site reads.
