(STMW) — Two people were hurt when two shooters opened fire inside a South Chicago neighborhood restaurant.

Two males wearing all back walked into the restaurant in the 8800 block of South Commercial Avenue at 7:18 p.m. and fired shots, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.

One woman, 25, was shot in the head and taken in serious condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.

A man, 19, was shot in the chest and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said. His condition was not yet known.

Neither shooter is in police custody Friday evening as Area South detectives investigate.
