Expert Picks: Bears Take Care Of Ravens At Home

(CBS) Every week during the Bears season, our experts from 670 The Score, CBS2 and WBBM Newsradio 780 & 105.9 FM provide their weekly picks for the Bears game:

Brian Hanley Terry Boers Matt Spiegel
Bears 27, Ravens 21 Bears 23, Ravens 19 Bears 24, Ravens 16
The Bears' run defense is third worst in the NFL having allowed 129.4 rushing yards per game. Baltimore is averaging 2.8 per carry, tied with Jacksonville for rock bottom. Hey Marc Trestman! Field goals are OK against the Ravens. Because of his smart pick last week, I thought I'd check in again with the legendary Dick Cavett. Turns out, he loves Josh McCown. The Ravens can't run, even against the Bears who usually can't stop it. No run game means no play action, and no deep balls of consequence. McCown throws his first INT, but survives.
Record: 4-5 Record: 6-3 Record: 5-4

Hub Arkush Adam Hoge Matt Abbatacola
Bears 23, Ravens 20 Bears 20, Ravens 17 Bears 30, Ravens 17
This is a matchup the Bears can handle. If the Bears' offensive line can keep the Ravens' pass rush - which definitely does still work - from working itself into an involuntary manslaughter charge, Josh McCown will do enough to lead the Bears to a head-knocking, nail-biting win. The Ravens can't run and the Bears can't stop the run. Both teams will think it's a good matchup for them. I'll take the Bears, who should be able to keep only seven in the box as long as Wootton and Paea play well up front. The offense clicks and the defense looks good against a bad offense. The Ravens have 30 sacks allowed and are averaging just 2.8 yards per carry. Easy win at home.
Record: 6-3 Record: 5-4 Record: 5-4

Ben Finfer Nick Shepkowski Jay Zawaski
Bears 26, Ravens 23 Bears 24, Ravens 23 Bears 27, Ravens 17
I have no good reason for picking the Bears. But I don't have a good reason to pick the Ravens either. So I'll go with the home team, I guess. Josh McCown plays just well enough to win, as settling for too many field goals and a late Flacco pick costs Baltimore a victory at Soldier Field. I don't think the Ravens' defense is good enough to stop the Bears' offense. And I certainly don't think the Ravens' offense can win a shootout at Soldier Field.
Record: 7-2 Record: 1-0 Record: 4-5

Ryan Baker Dan Durkin Josh Liss
Ravens 20, Bears 17 Bears 20, Ravens 17 Ravens 27, Bears 23
At least there won't be any Jay Cutler questions this week. Josh McCown has been spectacular but he's due for a let down. It will be strength-on-strength when the Bears have the football, and they should find success against the Ravens' secondary. On the other side, Baltimore's offense doesn't have enough weapons. The one-dimensional Bears are hanging on by a thread, and probably asking too much of middling Josh McCown at quarterback.
Record: 5-4 Record: 5-4 Record: 6-3
