Video: Globetrotter Sets New World Record For Longest Basketball Shot
(CBS) Who said the Harlem Globetrotters aren't relevant anymore?
On Thursday, the Globetrotters' Corey "Thunder" Law set a new Guinness World Record after sinking a shot from 109 feet, 9 inches at U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix.
"I didn't know what to think at first, because I had never tried a shot from that distance before," Law told the Globetrotters' official website. "It seemed nearly impossible."
