Woman Shot In Englewood
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A woman was wounded in an Englewood neighborhood shooting Monday night on the South Side.
The 20-year-old woman was shot in the left side of the chest about 11:20 p.m. in the 7200 block of South Lowe Avenue, police said.
She was in the rear room on the first floor of the apartment building when shots came through the window, police said. The shots are believed to have come from the backyard.
She was listed in "stable" condition and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
No one was in custody early Tuesday as Area South detectives investigated.
